I started developing Tae Su Jutsu in 1980, and started teaching it in 1990. Although Wing Chun is part of Tae Su Jutsu, the lineage itself goes through the American Freestyle system and Korean systems.

I Studied Tang Soo do, and Tae Kwon do, with Charles Henry. Charles studied with Both Grandmaster Kee Whang (Founder of modern Tang Soo Do), and General Choi (The Grandmaster of the ITF). He received his Black Belts in both Arts from these gentlemen. When he returned to the states from service, he taught for Dr Dae Shi Kim (ITF and WTF), and Grandmaster Chung (Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon do), here in Atlanta, that is where I first met him. Charles also taught Joe Corley (Grandmaster of the Joe Corley American Freestyle System), at Grandmaster Chung's. This brings me to the American Freestyle. Joe Corley started out teaching Tang Soo Do, then in 1974, he started the Southeast Karate Association (SEKA), and the Joe Corley American Freestyle System. I strudied with him, and one of his Teachers (Lloyd Garrard), and of course Charles Henry.

TAE SU JUTSU (the art of the hand and foot), is a system of the American Freestyle Family of martial arts. It uses the techniques of four martial arts systems

The Styles are as follows.

Chinese Wing Chun

Korean Tang Soo Do

Korean Tae Kwon Do (ITF)

American Freestyle (The Joe Corley American System).
